Boy, I sure hope not.
Of course, for those so inclined (either through their own faith or by being willing to look at what their faith actually says), Jesus had some not-so-nice things to say about being rich. There's that whole "easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle" bit (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=matthew%2019:16-25&version=NIV), and there's that rich man and Lazarus parable as well (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2016:19-32&version=NIV).
The Biblical problem with being rich, though, is not richness per se, but the focus on wealth and worldly things, vs. doing what is right and placing God and other humans (your "neighbors") as high or higher than yourself.
So, no, Mitt Romney is not evil because he is rich. But if he gained his riches by exploitation and harming of others, and if he uses his richness not in service of those in need, but instead to further increase his and others' wealth … well, that's a bit more problematic.
(And, no, that's not just a problem for Mitt.)
