'“But I think the challenge that I’ll have in the debate is that the president tends to, how shall I say it, to say things that aren’t true,” Romney said, adding, “I’ve looked at prior debates. And in that kind of case, it’s difficult to say, “Well, am I going to spend my time correcting things that aren’t quite accurate? Or am I going to spend my time talking about the things I want to talk about?”'
Desperation time, or just plain ol' projection?

Mitt Romney: Barack Obama may lie in debates – Katie Glueck
Mitt Romney said in an interview that his campaign will “come into focus” with the debates and that he’s preparing for President Barack Obama to “say things that aren’t true” during the three upcoming…

Going by Obama's campaign so far, it's a foregone conclusion that he's going to say things that aren't true.
It feels stupid to essentially say, "Nuh-uh, he's a bigger liar than he is …" but … well, that's what I would essentially say in return.
It's also, even if true, anything but a class act on Romney's part to lob the accusation before the fact.
The debates this year are going to be a joke full of nothing but each side trying to prove who is the bigger douchebag. The issues, ones that really need be talked about, ignored.
All politicians lie. You can tell when they’re lying; their mouths are moving.
But seriously, this from a man who tells lies amost every time he speaks, is ludicrous.
I'll watch the debates if Gary Johnson is in on them. If he's not, I'll watch the debates if I'm in need of a laugh. Or a cry.
Mitt is gonna get killed. No where to run. I bet he is gonna try to avoid answering the questions and I really hope whoever is asking not to just let him get away with it. The flip-flopper will get caught real soon.

I'd like to agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.
Someone told me to Google “Lyin’ for the Lord.” Fascinating! I think most of the stuff about LDS “lyin’ for the Lord” is sour grapes from ex-Mormons, but I have heard “milk before meat” many times and I can see that contributing to some of the intentional omissions we have already seen (no more tax form releases, “I’ll make specific decisions once I am in office,” etc.). I think Romney is giving us “milk before meat.” I think that is true of many politicians, but I have a sneaky suspicion this vegetarian will be forced to eat some of Romney’s dreaded meat and I won’t like it!
