"Arrow"

I finally (yeah, I know) got around to watching the pilot / first episode of "Arrow", the TV take on Green Arrow.  And it was actually much better than I expected — nothing to blow the socks off, but some nice, grim-gritty, somewhat violent, mildly comic-booky entertainment.

I plan to watch more.

    1. I would not call it teen or angsty at all. Maybe twenty-something angsty, but not in a “Oh, she doesn’t love me” kind of way. More “Dark Knight” than “Smallville.” AT least the pilot ep.

  1. There IS some angsty relationshiping, but it’s completely in keeping with the tradition set up in the Dark Knight movies (and Green arrow is a less grim Batman, always was.). Good stuff!
