More government interference over "clean water"

I mean, is this typical EPA overreach or what?. Clearly the market could decide if the water was clean enough for consumption.  I mean, if  enough people died in the community, then it would get a reputation and informed consumers would stop buying houses there, problem solved!

As it stands, now that the EPA has made a big, literal, "federal case" over it, those North Carolina folks will be expecting someone to do something about it! And with my tax dollars! How crazy and un-American is that?

  1. My friend in Charlotte thanked me for sending her this article. She found no information at all on this story in the Charlotte Observer and was bemoaning the fact that she had to hear about it from someone in NY. I then had to break it to her that I had read in on the blog of someone from Colorado; it wasn’t in my newspaper, either.

    1. Well, to be fair, it’s a link to a story on WNCN/News-17, which is a N Carolina TV station, I believe.

But I’m glad to have been of service in passing on useful news.
