I had no idea that there were "watch lists" for breeds that don't have many new purebred puppies registered for them.
On the one hand, for myself I don't find any moral excuse for not buying a new dog as a mutt from an animal shelter.
On the other hand, I'd hate to see a great breed like the English Sheepdog vanish, just because chihuahuas are easier to keep in a flat.
