Well, we don't want him in our society anyway. Best of luck to him.
Ironically, Elton John (by befriending Rush Limbaugh) did the very thing that Dondero refused to do. I guess Elton's a bigger man than Dondero.
I wonder why Dondero's methods for dealing with Democrats don't extend to Republicans.
Because he's pragmatically linked himself to the Republicans, like his BFF Ron Paul (he's a former Paul operative). So he can't turn on his own tribe, and must instead declare war to the death on the Real Bad Guys.
I thought Libertarians were all about extending the rights of people and avoid aggression against those who do not impede others’ rights. This guy doesn’t sound at all like a Libertarian.
@Avo – There are Libertarians and there are Libertarians. He’s a DON’T TAX ME FOR YOUR WELFARE QUEENS AND TAKERS AND PEOPLE WHO WANT TO TAKE MY GUNS style Liberatian.
Its hilarious because all he is doing is creating more rift and divide. The effect if all Libertarians did this would be disastrous to the party. You can't win or be successful at almost anything without people and collaboration.
Well, I'm not convinced (as hinted below) that it isn't posturing for the sake of publicity (for the Cause, of course).
Needless to say, it's not the most effective way to publicize The Cause. That two-dimensional graph (Hey! You're a Libertarian!) is much more effective than the "quit your job and associate with the Pure" tactic. Heck, even the Moral Majority didn't do that.
He's a Drama Llama, looking for the Grand Gesture. Not to his own glory, certainly not, but, as I said, for the Cause.
Hmm. Most Ron Paul fans confine themselves to "Ron Paul is the most famous politician ever on the Internet" claims.
