Or Sony. Or Panasonic. Apparently, without much fanfare, the Japanese consumer giants are getting their lunches eaten by competition from Korea, China, and elsewhere. As someone who grew up with those brands, it's kind of shocking.

Panasonics been losing market share for a long time, I know cause I used to work on their marketing in Canada. Part of the problem is that their prices are SO overinflated and you don't get much better if any better product then something that costs hundreds less.
I just find it amazing, given all the Sharp, Sony, and Panasonic products I've had (and still have, for that matter).
