An interesting look at what a good wedding photographer charges … and why.
I have no idea what our professional photographer (plus assistant) cost. I do know I've attended weddings where, as a friend, I was the (or one of the) photog or videographer. And I did my best, and hopefully the bride and groom still enjoy their photos …
But I don't begin to pretend that I'm a professional in that way, any more than I'm a professional web page designer or sommelier or voice artist or any number of other amateur pursuits I have.
If you want a professional, you have to pay, because the cost almost certainly got to more than just the X hours that you see them standing there doing their thing.

Dave,
Where did you run across my friend Rich C., a fellow Airstream nut?
Ha!
The wonders of Internet Serendipity, +William Kerfoot.
Dave, thanks for sharing.
William, Rich and I have been friends since college. "it's a small world"
Indeed! I met the Kerfoots many years ago through my wife and her family. Makes me all the more glad I got pointed at this particular article. 🙂
James, Thank you for sharing Rich's blog. I used to read it but stopped for some reason, I should restart, especially since he is starting a new adventure. I met Rich C. through Rich L. of Airstream Life and got to shake his hand in Salem, OR in 2006.
