Heh. And you think Imperial Stormtroopers have it bad …

The Fellowship Of The Ringwraiths
History is written by the victors. This video shows us that the Nazgul really weren't the ominous, unstoppable, forces of evil that we've been lead to believe.
And they had feelings too!

Oh, I loved that! Thank you so much!
I still don’t get British humor (er… “humour.”). I was looking forward to the Nazguls’ historical perspective on the hunt for the Ring and instead got five incompetent Ringwraiths spouting twaddle. I know many people love Monty Python and its comedic descendants, but I guess I will never understand why.
Am I missing a crucial gene?
@Avo – Could be.
If I can analyze the humor, I think it’s all about irony — the irony that these mad-scary creatures are, when not on screen going ooga-booga (or hisssssss) are, in fact, “mortal men” who bitch about their job and their fiends and each other. Plus the proximate irony (leavened with absurdity) of some of the lines (“Wait, I’ll go get on my big fire-proof cloak!” “There’s no time for that, Margaret!”) (plus the river of horses line, of course).
It’s not to everyone’s taste (god knows there’s humor out there that I simply don’t “get”), and this particular instance wasn’t stellar, but I did find it amusing.
