Star Trek Teaser: “Into Darkness” Trailer Released
James T. Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise will be back for second pre-quel of the young original Enterprise crew with next summer’s “Star Trek Into Darkness.” From this new teaser trailer just released today, it certainly looks dark, with lots of explosions, fight scenes, women screaming, Chris Pine’s Kirk having omnipresent cuts on his face, and what looks like a starship falling into an ocean.

This will be the first Star Trek movie I have not seen in theaters. Or at all.
Any particular reason, @Avo?
Hmm, I'm in two minds about this. On the one hand, the last film was not too bad with the somewhat ropey plot made up for by the performances. I just hope this is not going to be another Prometheus where the entire film is just a way of going from one set-piece to another.
Looks like there's plenty of action to carry over from one set piece to another (I would say that ST:TMP was that franchise's Prometheus, on a number of levels).
My comments keep being eaten. I give up.
Hmm. That one came through.
I don’t see any others that are in moderation or anything.
I answered your question twice, in lengthy posts that never made it through. My fingers refuse to type all that a third time.
Huh. Very odd. Wonder if there was something about the content, the size, or something else that caused it to hiccup. Sorry about that, @Avo.
Only one link, which shouldn’t have been enough.
I did have one good line: “I think that ‘New Kirk’ may suffer from A.S.S. (Anakin Skywalker Syndrome).”
Hmmm. Didn’t think he was that bad.
