Colorado looks at abolishing the death penalty

I'm fine with putting it before the voters, vs. the legeslature. Let's make it a public debate. Not only is capital punishment's goal of personal and societal vengeance not worthy of civilized (or, for those who claim to be, godly) people, it's frightfully costly and even more frightfully prone to error.
