I'm not really capable of not multitasking when watching TV. If it's something I want to pay more attention to, I'll cross-stitch instead of being on the computer. I think the only time I didn't do anything else when watching something was when rewatching "The Reichenbach Fall" because I was paying very, very close attention.
There is a new trend toward a "two-screen" experience. I downloaded an app that would activate when I watched new episodes of Leverage, but I didn't want to miss anything by diverting my attention to my phone. Same with the Walking Dead website. I just can't divide my attention without losing too much of the story.
Syfy does this, too — at least with FaceOff.
(Shrugs.) I never watch live TV, and I doubt it's available while watching on DVR …
