Okay, I've been worried that schools are so focused on high test scores that they're cutting out all sorts of electives and time on anything except for core test subjects.
But clearly this isn't a problem in Mississippi, where they have enough time for a series of mandatory assemblies (one for each grade) dedicated to preaching teaching kids how coming to Jesus Christ will solve all the problems in their lives.
Did they really think they wouldn't get sued over this?
