Although watching a movie with a sex scene next to your parents is a bit ackward, the article does bring up a good point. Parents rather have their children watch a violent movie over one with nudity. Seriously?!? Is having a child really worse than killing someone?
We certainly seem to think so here in the US.

So in high school summer before junior year I rented "Friday" to watch with a friend. His Mom asked and thought it was raunchy. Me being dumb said, "Nah it's not that bad. A few curse words but I've seen worse."
I wasn't trying to lie but was seriously desensitized at the time. Needless to say she sat down and watched the whole thing with us. It was beyond white knuckle for me. Damn! I give her props now!
