This was very sad news. I will have to reread his stories now.

Hmm… I could have sworn I had a big volume of his short stories, but all I can find on my bookshelves is _I Am Legend_.

@Avo – The Vincent Price version (“The Last Man on Earth”) scared the bejeebers out of me back when I was a kid.
I always enjoyed Matheson’s TZ scripts — Serling’s twist endings tended toward the cute, whereas Matheson’s tended toward the gut-wrenching.
