Movie Review: "Dune" (1984)
Herbert purists may find a lot to pull their hair out here, but David Lynch goes big and it (mostly) pays off. Been a while since I've seen the film, and I took advantage of Bachelor Week to do so — and don't regret a single minute.

I happen to have enjoyed the Sci-Fi version better.
My recollection is that the SciFi version was a better (more complete, and more accurate) adaptation … but kind of dull compared to the Lynch version.
