Is an Eighth Doctor spin-off likely?

Sadly, probably not.  And, squeefulness of "The Night of the Doctor" aside, I can't see a series of 6 minute vignettes, even if the quality could be kept up.

Me? I'd watch the hell out of an Eighth Doctor TV series — maybe, yeah, a 3-5 episode limited kind of thing.  If the quality were there.  But assuming the limitations on how frequently "Doctor Who" is coming out already are as much due to production staff contention as the actors involved, it would need to be a near-parallel effort, and that would be worrisome.  And, honestly, I have no idea how well it would do, ratings-wise, but probably not as well as it would deserve.

Oh, well. I can dream. #doctorwho
