I actually enjoy football more than a lot of continuous-play sports, perhaps because it feels more like a turn-based game, which is my preferred wargaming MO. But the overall numbers of play vs. replay vs. standing around vs. commercials is … well, honestly, more than a bit crazy.

A someone who only enjoys the 11 minutes — if they’re pretty good minutes — this is excruciatingly obvious. That’s like 6 hours of ads for a half hour (22 min) tv show.
