Refreshing honesty in the realm of banning contraception

An Ohio state representative (John Becker (R))wants to get rid of insurance coverage of IUDs because he thinks they prevent the implantation of fertilized ova, and therefore are abortion. That's not how medical science actually defines abortion, and not how IUDs actually work, but hey, at least he admits, "This is just a personal view. I’m not a medical doctor."

Which is a wonderful reason, of course, for a legislator to be legislating about medical matters.
