What's most amusing about this clip is that Hamill seems way more comfortable doing the Joker than in during Luke. Of course villains are a lot more of a hoot to play than heroes, especially one like the Joker.
Also, to be fair, what can you really say about Luke Skywalker's voice? Nothing much imo, and especially hard to do when he's 30 years older than when he played the role. Very distinct voice of the Joker vs comparatively average voice.
I feel like he's just played the Joker more. Its an easier place to go to. I mean, go back and look at that scene in Empire Strikes Back. He puts a lot into it.
Agreed, he's definitely done it more and over a longer period. Luke is, though (outside of those who know and appreciate his Joker stint) a much bigger role.
I think it has to do with the dialogue. I mean, if you were asked to say something LUKE would say, could you come up with as many sentences as something THE JOKER would say?
+Dave Hill Hamill retired from doing the Joker 3 years ago upon completion of Arkham City and after 19 years of voicing him. He is on record as stating that he would absolutely return to voice Joker one last time if they were ever to do an animated adaptation of "The Killing Joke."

I saw this last night and thought the exact, same, thing. I think I've always enjoyed his voice over work over his screen work, anyway.

+MrDioXIII And, for that matter, a lusciously zany character vs a kind of whiny generic protagonist.

Technically he's done Joker longer.

Amazing talented man
+Viktor Buitron He really should start voicing Joker again!
+optimegatrongodzilla As far as I know, he's not turned down any Joker jobs that WB/DC were offering.
