If only Sharia weren't so … Muslim

Sometimes one does in deed get the impression that Bryan Fischer (and others of his ilk) would be more than happy to impose Sharia Law … if it mentioned Christ more.  

I mean, apparently it's fine and dandy to be against porn, abortion, gays, women outside the home, booze, apostasy, heresy, and sectarian law … but only if you do it in the name of Jesus.  Because then it's about Freedom and America.

  1. I wish I could find the link again, but I recall that some jurisdiction (probably Florida) passed a law providing benefits to faith-based organizations. Some time later, the person who sponsored the bill was horrified to discover that the law was being used by MUSLIMS.

  2. +John E. Bredehoft I've seen some articles like that play out in a couple of southern states — church-based private school funding  was another one.  

    These folk just don't think.  They see "religion" and their brains just translate it into "Christianity" (and, further, their particular flavor of same.
