There are reasons why borders are where they are at any given point in time, and arguments as to how hard or porous they should be. With all due respect to Bryan-buddy-buddy, though, I'm pretty confident it's not because God has a cosmic map upon which He's scribbled them in and declared "YOU SHALL NOT PASS."

    Whose permission? If these borders are set by God, nations don't have the right to control them; only God does. Who is to say whom God has allowed to cross our borders? The very fact that immigrants aren't struck down in the act would seem to be evidence that God has granted them permission to cross.

    Or perhaps it's Bryan Fischer's permission that is required. That must be it.
