Well, let me put it this way — I don't particularly want another graphics format for still images. If Mozilla can improve JPEG encoding that helps reduce file size, rather than our having to start add WebP files to the mix, I'm all for it.

While Google is promoting WebP, Mozilla thinks JPEG is good enough.
