Ran across this video unexpectedly on YouTube. I was never a regular "Baywatch" watcher, though I ended up through various courses seeing more episodes than was probably healthy for me. The intro sequence here is pure 90s pop culture gold, from the music, to the glamour reveals of hardbodied guys and bathing beauty girls, to the incidental (but nicely shot) rescue craft scenes.
A special call-out (since I looked him up) to Michael Newman, the only "Baywatch" regular who was an actual lifeguard, and who was a show regular (and consultant) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Newman_(lifeguard) ).
