I've recently posted about drought and aquifer depletion in Texas, and California's state-wide drought and its impact on agriculture. Here's another bit of jolly news coverage about in-between — the Colorado River, itself stressed by drought, and the depletion of aquifers in those areas that would normally be drawing water from it instead.
