I discovered (because of a link error I was tracking down) that one of the entries in my WIST quotations site is actually referenced in North Carolina's English Language Arts Common Core materials as a text exemplar for 9-10th grade students. It's a portion of a speech by Learned Hand back in 1941.

That's kind of cool. Hopefully when N Carolina rejiggers its ed standards to get rid of the Great Satan of Common Core (sigh), it will  still be seen as something worthwhile for Tarheel teens.
