This is actually excellent (which the plusses and shares seem to indicate as well), as a take-down of the "asking for it" calumny. People don't "ask" to be harassed, any more than they "ask" to be beaten, robbed, raped, etc. Cosplayers, in particularly, obviously don't.
Do they want to be looked at? Sure. Do they want their craftmanship to be admired? Certainly. Do they want to show off how well their body works with the costume? Probably. Do they want to identify in some way with the character being portrayed? Well, enough at least to go around dressed as them.
But in what mad universe does that turn into wanting to be groped, followed around, sexually commented about, or repeatedly solicited? Let alone brushed against, rubbed against, touched, solicited some more, then insulted or further followed, groped, etc., if said solicitations are turned down or unappreciated? Only in the minds of someone who thinks women are just about sex, that any display of skin is an invitation to sex, that such invitations are to be (literally) seized, and that if sex is not granted it's a personal insult because obviously they are choosing to have sex with some other person they deem more worthy so they must be sluts and teases who need to be taught a lesson.
Which, frankly, says a whole hell lot more (and a hell lot less complementary) about you, Mr. Harasser and/or Harassment Supporter than about that cosplayer.
So now that you've read the joke.
