Complete with ties to Arrow and the Flash (in some fashion).
I've always liked Vixen — her powers (especially in an animated format) are very dynamic, understandable, and, when used right, imaginative. She tends to be overpowered, though, by the biggest guns in the DCU, so having her own series may make sense (with sufficient guest starpower to keep things interesting).
The only other issue I can think of is how they'll handle her cultural (and magic) ties to Africa, which could be really interesting or potentially handled really poorly.
The illustration below has a "Young Justice" look to it — which would be pretty cool, too.
[UPDATED] DC Comics’ Vixen is Getting Her Own Animated Series on The CW Seed

This ^^
I've always liked Mari, and thought they did a pretty good job with her in Justice League Unlimited
I'm sure I'll give this, at least, one watch.
+Mark Means I liked everything about her (including Gina Torres as the voice) in JLU. Good visualizations, esp. The challenge is how to have her as the star not be an occasional ensemble player (esp. as part of a love triangle).
It's animated… it's VIXEN… and it ties in continuity wise with Arrow and The Flash live-action shows?
HELL YES!
+Dave Hill Yep, know what you mean though, sometimes, I don't mind the main character taking a back seat and letting someone else have the spotlight. As long as it's not overdone, it can work.
+Mark Means Oh, quite true. I'm just saying that I haven't seen Vixen as a character (and power mix) work well as an independent character. Her mini-series was less-than-stellar, for example. She's a great supporting character, because of her versatility and personal aspects, but taking the lead is something I've not seen done well. Yet.
