Bryan, you know who gets to decide who is a true follower of Christ? Yeah, that would be Christ. I think I'll wait to hear what he says.
Though, in the meantime, I'd love to hear your exegesis of the Gospels that leads you to say, viz homosexuality, "Christ and his apostles made it very clear that that's a sin. You can't celebrate that, can't promote that and call yourself a follower of Christ." As far as I know, only Paul mentions that, and there's some fairly legitimate debate over what he was referring to. But Jesus? Or any of his other apostles? Point me chapter and verse, Bryan. Go ahead.
Until then, I'll simply support gay rights and call myself a (to the best of my abilities) follower of Christ.
