This is the fifth volume of the delightful "Rivers of London" / "Folly" / "Peter Grant" (depending on what source you look at) series, and it's just as much fun a quirky urban (here largely rural) fantasy as the others along the way, as well as a ripping police procedural.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for sheer enjoyment is that the ending is … um … abrupt. But until that point, it's superb.
