I use my phone as an alarm clock (and white noise generator) while on travel, but it's never as convenient to stop the alarm quickly (or reliably).

This is why I prefer an actual alarm clock
I haven't used my clock radio's alarm since I got a phone with an alarm app. Changing the single alarm on the clock radio was way too inconvenient.
+Scott Randel I have a double alarm on mine, and only have to change the secondary alarm once every few weeks as circumstances require.
But figuring out how to set various hotel alarm clocks, then being sleepless because I wasn't sure I'd done it right? Yeah, totally into using the phone, esp. with the white noise.
