The Tyranny of Time

I am both intrigued and repulsed by the idea of my calendar automatically figuring out how I should spend my time, based on what I've expressed a desire to make time for. Repulsed because it feels like one more thing pressuring me; intrigued, because I can definitely use the reminder.

The only question I have about a Cuba invasion (not a "raid" or "operation") is whether it will be an "October surprise" for this year, to (he thinks) bolster the GOP in the election, or wait until his lame duck years to prove he's still Large and In Charge.

It occurs to me that if opposing #LGBTQ rights or expressions or events is a religious thing that must be afforded full #FirstAmendment protection, then the reverse (favoring such things) must be true as well.
