A picture of the south wing of the Denver Art Museum. We were there last night for a service award dinner for Margie and other folk at her company, celebrating (for her) 25 years with the firm.
Which was very cool and all that, and I raise a glass in congratulations, but I also found myself more than a bit cheesed off (at my employer( that I'd been a year out from 30 with my company before my layoff, so no fancy service award celebration for me.
Sigh.
Anyway, it was a nice dinner. Life goes on.

Yeppers, we all agree that your soon to be former employer is a Cheep ass, tightwad of a company that has done nothing to increase employee loyalty and really should be seen as steppingstone to better employment.
+Stan Pedzick Well, I won't say that, but, then, I have a non-disparagement clause in my separation agreement.
The King's stinking son… and all that. Like +Stan Pedzick, I have a nigh level of confidence you'll find something even better suited and rewarding.
