Fly the hoity-toity skies (starting with your terminal and gate)

Because definitely the one thing that LAX needs is a massive investment in celebrity terminal facilities. That has been glaringly obvious every time I've dealt with its awful parking, its labyrinthine ticketing areas, and its aging concourses. "If only the wealthy and celebrities could avoid what we hoi-polloi have to go through," thought I.

Of course, I've never had to deal with paparazzi, too, so what do I know.

  1. Oh, they are giving money toward it (though I have no idea how or whether the fees involved cover the cost). Still, it smacks badly of that greatest social sin, queue jumping.

  2. People in general have a huge sense of self-entitlement going on these days, and that has sadly created the new breed of celebrity; the kind who has forgotten they exist because of 'average joes' liking them. Too many celebs like Kanye and Bieber around, thinking we need to kiss their butts just because they're awesome enough to exist in our lives.
