It's one thing to be afraid. It's another thing to cater to that fear

I think a lot less of Southwest for truckling to the paranoia of a bunch of people so fearful of the world that they think someone who openly speaks another language or is apparently of another religion is a mortal threat to them.

"We have nothing to fear but fear itself," said an America president in a time of much more mortal danger than we face today. Maybe some contemplation of what we're talking about when we sing of "the home of the brave" is in order.
