Got them done last night. Some will be late in arriving, but all will go out before the 25th.
Given the debacle of Amazon's delivery of this year's cards, I ended up using bits and bobs of leftover cards from years past, as well as scavenging some from my mom (thanks, Mom!). But it's the thought that counts, right?
Way to use up those extra Christmas cards we all have sitting in a closet somewhere.
Amazon is awesome at a lot of things, but they still have some work to do when it comes to delivering around the holidays. Of course, I'm sure the numbers of items they have going out is unimaginable so it's sort of impressive that things get to where they're going at all.
+Marty Shaw I've been blaming Amazon, but it's actually UPS.
Wednesday (delivery due date): Major snow storm hits Denver.
Thursday: Package goes out, but not delivered. Understandable.
Friday: Package goes out, but not delivered.
Saturday: Package goes out, but not delivered.
Sunday: We fly away to California for the holidays.
Monday: Package delivered.
Ah, well, more Christmas cards for next year.
And yet I got a delivery a day earlier than listed because of the snow. Sorry about bogarting your delivery date.
