Young Justice was a fresh look at the DC Universe through a Teen Titans style team of young superheroes — Kid Flash, Ms Martian, Superboy, Aqualad, Artemis, and, later, many others. It was well written, well animated … and tragically cut off by Cartoon Network after two seasons in 2013 because (the story goes) it attracted too many female viewers amidst the many male viewers, and that meant they wouldn't sell enough toys, and, besides, they could replace it with Teen Titans GO!, and it was all so damned tragic …
Apparently, though, Netflix — which is currently streaming YJ — is seriously interested in seeing if there's enough demand for them to make a third season, which would be teh awesome.
So, we'll be binge-watching YJ this weekend (or, at least, running it in the background during the day) because, damn, that was one fine show.
(We would buy the Blu-Rays, as suggested, but we already have them …)

Is Netflix Considering A Revival Of ‘Young Justice?’
Several people associated with the production of the ‘Young Justice’ animated series recently hinted that Netflix is studying the show’s current statistics on the subscription service, possibly in consideration of reviving it.
Both Young Justice AN Teen Titans Go! are on an endless repeat cycle (like Scooby Do and Green Lantern Animated series) on local free-to-air channel 9GO!
We started watching season 2 recently. We liked season 1 more (and YJA even more than that), but it's still great. We wish they'd do something more on this level, rather than the garbage, plot-less, low-budget animation that is represented in the more recent Teen Titans iteration.
+Gary Roth The "five years later" (or whatever the interval was) between seasons was … a creative mistake (my impression is, driven again by the suits wanting more characters for toy sales). It was still, though, good.
+Dave Hill I concur.
And, even with our relatively busy weekend, we plowed through all of S.1. Good stuff, most notable of which was having a very traumatic episode that led to repercussions of trauma the following episode.
Occasional irks at Netflix for some serious soundtrack sync issues (like, major scenes apart) in a couple of episodes. Fortunately we had the DVDs to fill in for those.
