Well, not really, but since the subject came up …
+Kay Hill was reading through something online suggesting great Fathers Day gifts, and one of them was … a lawn mower. I opined that the only new lawn mower I really wanted was one that had a person attached to it to push it.
And then that had me suddenly think, "Why the hell are we futzing about with autonomous cars when we could have autonomous lawn mowers?
Which, apparently actually exist (as the article suggests), sort of as Roombas for the Lawn.
Not that I have a grand-plus to drop on such a thing. Cheaper to hire a neighborhood kid to take care of it, I suppose. But, still, O Brave New World and all that.

I didn't think it was an ideal solution. And I suspect, even lacking a HOA, the City would have something to say about it. 🙂
