We watched the pilot episode for the new Tick series on Amazon Prime. I don't believe I would join Prime just to watch this show, but I'm more than happy to watch it since I already am a member.
The series is less zany than the cartoon or the comic, has (with CG) higher production values than the shortlived previous live action series, only has Patrick Warburton as a producer, but does have Ben Edlund as writer/creator. The story's actually complex and Arthur-centered, and may very well turn out to be something pretty darned interesting. It's not quite there yet, but, then, this was just the pilot episode.

Haven't seen it yet but will be watching this weekend.
We gave it a shot and I am intrigued. The implication that The Tick may actually be all in Arthur's head is an interesting angle.
+Les Jenkins Yes, I noticed that twist. Theoretically the events at the warehouse would seem to indicate an independent agency, but a simple accident is not beyond the pale. We'll see. Certainly from Arthur's perspective, that's a possibility.
