The person the police were called on was not a model citizen, behaving spotlessly. The reports said he was moving around menacingly, wielding a knife. The mentally ill man had (it was determined after the fact) methamphetamine in his body.
This is not the textbook perfectly innocent victim.
That said, a clearly voiced intent, not once, but twice, by the officers arriving on the scene to hit him with their police vehicle (followed by a foot pursuit and the inevitable fatal shooting, with 14 of the 18 rounds fired hitting him) should give anyone pause.
"Obey or the cops will run you over" isn't exactly what most people think "law and order" is about.
The police officers in question are on desk duty pending an investigation.

One thing I appreciate about the Creator of the universe is that unlike bigots, racists, many police officers, and some white and black people, He doesn't care about a person being "Perfect" in every way to care for justice and being treated fairly and not shot and killed for legitimate reasons, much less the color of ones skin and stereotypes. He looks for justice something many in the USA and in today's world have no idea what it truly is and is not based in personal or national, skin colored prejudice like the guy who posted this!!
