I’ve been in locker rooms. I never bragged, nor did anyone I talked to, discuss grabbing women by their privates, expectations that one could get away with it by being a star, and, hey, here’s how I pursued a married woman (while married myself), until I noticed she’d had a bad boob job.

Granted that people speak in different ways in different circumstances. I’m not sure that actually excuses being a sleazeball.
I’m pretty certain that, yes, Trump probably wouldn’t speak this way in public. Does that make it better?

Um … 11 years ago. Does that mean I can disavow anything I said or did while my daughter was in pre-school?
This is not a “while in college” tale. Does anyone think that Donald Trump at 59 was substantially different than Donald Trump at 70?

But even if true (I don’t think anyone has come up with a tape of Mr Clinton saying anything like this, but let’s assume), Bill Clinton isn’t running for President right now. Donald Trump is.
Heck, Bill Clinton ran for office in 1992 — 24 years ago. Based on Trump’s previous statements, that qualifies him now for sainthood.

I won’t be happy if this is what sinks him. LBJ was foul-mouthed and sexist but also did good things for the country. Trump would be a disaster even if he had better control of his tongue. As would Mike Pence.
