Pruitt is currently Attorney General of Oklahoma. His qualifications seem to be opposition to federal environmental regulation, esp. that around climate change, and he's been a close ally of oil and gas companies (and received campaign support from them).
Yeah, he's just who we need helping to Protect the Environment.
