Yeah, Steve "We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies" King is a piece of work. Speaking as the descendent of immigrants from a number of countries that King (or his ideological predecessors) wouldn't approve of, I'm happy to see even Republicans rebuking King and …

… well, most of them don't really "rebuke King." They politely "disagree" with him. Or wish to respond with platitudes about diversity without really calling him out on the matter in any way that might seem impolite or an attack. He is a colleague, after all. The ones from non-pasty-white backgrounds are the most vigorous in their counter-statements, but there's no sign that Rep. King will see much more of a response from his GOP comrades in the House than a few terse paragraphs in press releases.
