But let's not do anything about it, because it would cost money and be inconvenient and require more social welfare for jobs that are lost and maybe put us at less of a massive advantage economically over other countries. Oh, and it would be stomping out use of fossil fuels, which would make many rich people very sad.
Ah, well. At least I assume NASA will stop having money for the office that produces irritating maps like this, so we can ignore the problem for a decade or two.

This wouldn't be news IF the number of cold records being broken were anywhere close to the number of warm records. But warm records just keep getting broken, year after year, month after month, region after region. The pattern of warming is undeniable.
