I'm glad that in is later years, he was able to come to grips, and actually have fun, with his typcasting as the camp hero in the mid-60s Batman TV series. Growing up, that's all I ever knew him from, save a memorable role in the original Outer Limits show. [1]

I got to meet him and Burt Ward when they appeared at ECCC a few years ago. He seemed very pleased to hear that his show was the most important thing in my world when I was five. 🙂
a shock, but he had a good innings.
In Fairly Odd Parents, he played Catman and was also referred to as ”tv's Adam West”. I gained a huge respect for him for so gleefully mocking himself.
I can’t believe Adam West has passed away, he will be deeply missed. I loved him in Batman.
