  1. I visited Reed and Colorado College out of state, but I don't remember if I applied to either one. In retrospect, I don't think the campus visits made a big enough impression on me to justify the cost.

  2. +David Newman My choices were up and down the West Coast, and we did do a road trip for most of them that summer. I still have distinct memories of each, and visiting did help me choose between my top 2 (Pomona and Stanford).

    That said, I suspect any of the campuses identified will suit fine, even if in different ways.
