This appears to be The End

As of August 8, auth.sm2wp.com fails to be found in DNS (though www.sm2wp.com is still active). Without that, the plug-in no longer works. I've had this independently confirmed by another SM2WP G+ user.

I've reached out to my last contact for +Daniel Treadwell to see if this is a permanent condition, but given the general decrepitude of this site, I am assuming the worst and beginning to scramble around for an alternative.

If it is, despite way it ended, I want to just give a shout-out for the value I received from SM2WP, both for G+ and Twitter. It's been a great tool, and it will be missed.
