Rod Serling hated bigotry and prejudice with the fire of a burning sun, and, as a WW2 vet (serving in the Pacific) born into a Jewish family, he had an abiding hatred for fascism.
I find his Twilight Zone episode “He’s Alive” — where a bush league American Neo-Nazi gets coaching from a shadowy figure who has a certain … way with words — to be a bit too on-the-nose. But the concluding monologue from the episode is eerie, and still far, far too applicable to an America over fifty years after Serling wrote it.
