I always find it fascinating to see who’s picked for the seats right behind the President at his “rallies”. It doesn’t seem to be at random, though the selections themselves are often a little odd.
But, 99% of the time, they are white people.
Except for that one guy, occasionally, a black man in a white t-shirt, holding up a “BLACKS FOR TRUMP” sign. He shows up every now and then. But he has an interesting story behind him, too.
The strange story of that ‘Blacks for Trump’ guy standing behind POTUS at his Phoenix rally
“Michael the Black Man,” as he calls himself, has been in a controversial cult, called Oprah the Devil and thinks Hillary Clinton is a KKK member.

Interesting article, but Jeez what a nut.
LMAO… I wish for death.
He's right about Hillary
+Melanie Bourgoin you are a nut too… Now I'm really depressed.
+Eric Walker I'm a nut in a good way…dont be depressed
People are butt hurt because he wasn't hand picked by the establishment like the rest. The media is nothing but lies and chaos. Just like they will tell you, Obama was the USA FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT. LIE ! HE IS MULTI RACIAL. We have yet to have a black President.
Funny how judgemental the other side is. To try and dig up dirt on him and write a negitive story about him is just wrong what is with you people?
He just looks like a regular guy supporting his president. Why refer to him as a nut he is nothing like Al Gore now theres a nut job.
Next they will call him Uncle Tom
He believes that the Cherokee are crypto-imperial white supremacists who secretly run the KKK. Why can't I think he's a fucking nut. He was in a cult that killed a guy with a blunt machete! Fucking assholes
I see the Russian trolls have already arrived.
+wyat earp If he were just an ordinary guy, it wouldn't be newsworthy. This guy is, in fact, a nut. That he is given such prominence at so many Trump events strikes me as interesting, esp. given the dearth of other audience members of color.
Trump already forging deep divisions with his own party(Mitch McConnell) to be specific. He's now the leader of the nutty. Good example of his constituency.
They photoshopped him
"Two years later, a karate champ from Louisiana named Leonard Dupree was cracked over the head with a tire iron, kicked in the groin, and gored through the eyes with a sharpened stick." – from a linked story.
I can't remember any of this. Perhaps it wasn't reported internationally.
Anyway, if Trump knew that a person associated with this was standing behind him, even he might be nervous.
+Dave W Are you suggesting that person wasn't actually there? Because he's in pretty much every photo of every outlet covering Trump's speech.
+Rick Vandermay To be fair, there are nuts who follow any politician. And I don't think he's given such a public seat because he's a nut. He's there because he counters the thought that Trump is only popular with (and interested in) white folk.
What's fascinating is that no one minds that these people who support Trump don't care he's a nut.
+Dave Hill if he isn't photoshpped..he was paid to be there
Well, there's certainly a record of Trump and his people paying for folk to attend events, though this guy seems "legit" (within the bounds of being a nut).
There doesn't seem to be any shortage of pro- (or anti-) Trump folk to show up to events or protests these days [http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2017/08/22/trump_phoenix_rally_paid_protesters_on_both_sides_probably_not.html]

+Dave Hill the thing is buddy who cares? Who has time to look him up just to call him down. Thats the issue
+wyat earp He was put on camera for a purpose — "Hey, look, average black guys like Trump, too!" Looking more deeply into his background as an "average black guy" seems legit to me.
In other words, he made himself a public figure, to put a message out with his sign and his shirt. The Trump rally folk made him a public figure, too.
