Okay, 90% of the retail drones giving me a December salutation are doing so from a script. So why should I care about whether they wish me "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays" or "Holistic Hanukkah" or "Yumpin' Yule"?
And for that 10% who are sincere in their good wishes … why should I quibble over what specific benediction they give me? #ddtb
